Hell Hole High
These are the hilarious misadventures of three students sent by their demoralized parents to a reform school of terror.
Subjected to an endless stream of deranged teachers, the hapless kids graduate to their horrific fate!"
Seattle Anti-Surveillance Society - HHH's Heroine, Tiffany, has her own political action group.

Hell Hole High student Doink Doinkerson taunts a surveillance camera.

Our story unravels as three teens receive parental scoldings for their disappointing behavior. Billy for using his parents' credit cards to buy time with prostitutes. Tiffany for refusing to get the boob-job she needs in order to win the Catholic Schoolgirl Beauty Pageant. And Doink? Problems with punctuality. All three are sent to reform school: the notorious Hell Hole High.

The new enrollees are caught by surprise by Hell Hole High's tough-love philosophy. The sex-ed teacher punishes one of her students by burning him alive. The P.E. teacher subjects his boys to a harsh regimen of unseemly touchings. And when the music teacher gives a lesson in rock 'n roll guitar, the body parts really go flying.

Outside of school, the three follow very different paths on the road to adulthood. Billy takes up with a trailer-park sugarmama; Tiffany moves in with lesbians and starts an anti-surveillance society; and Doink, under the mentorship of a wise transient, begins his attempt to win Tiffany's heart.

HELL HOLE HIGH PRESS
Despite it's flaws, I couldn't help but love HELL HOLE HIGH. I was chuckling at bits of dialogue days later. The project exudes a frenzied pace and unique personality. Imagine the old MTV series LIQUID TELEVISION catapulted into the non-animated world and add heaping doses of irony and you will know what to expect. It's funny, the plot intriguing and the soundtrack begging for an official release. Maybe it's the skewed view some of us have of society that made it so palatable. As one lecturer says to the protagonists, "You kids wouldn't know peace and love if it bit you on the ass." Very true, but I know a buried treasure when I see it."
CULT CUTS Magazine

Who can forget the "Seattle Anti-Surveillance Society" subplot of Hell Hole High? You know, where Tiffany holds secret after school meetings plotting the destruction of security cameras?

An "anarchist" who takes himself a little too seriously comments on SASS

"Mixed in with the moments of bizarre comedy are scenes of gore including a stabbing with scissors, burning and guts galore. It's mind numbingly silly, but I couldn't turn away until the end credits rolled (and even then I had to stick around and watch the outtakes!). The moments of bizarre violence stand to compliment the films equally bizarre sense of humor. Fans of the oddest in indie cult cinema should ultimately be pleased."

LOST IN TRANSLATION: A British lad who just didn't like the film at all: "Unfortunately this film aims to be a comedy and it wasn't that funny at all, ever."

Hell Hole High Cast
HHH on the IMDB

Becky Rygg (TIFFANY) studied theater at Seattle Central Community College and has been acting locally for the past 3 years; her dancing skills were honed at the Belltown Ballet Studios. Theater credits include The Wiz, Midsummer Night's Dream, Little Shop of Horrors, and Scarecrow at the Seattle Fringe Festival. Becky also appeared in Karl Krogstad's Great Uncle Jimmy.

Aaron Voorhees (DOINK DOINKERSON) began his performance career at the age of eight with Rennaissance Children's Shakespeare. He has worked with AKA Theatre (London) and the Rude Mechanicals (off-Broadway); Aaron studied theatre at San Jose State University. His film credits include The Charles Herrold Story for PBS and a commercial for Cinequest Film Festival IX. Writing credits include the play The Bold and the Secure (produced by City Lights of San Jose) and a stint as the head writer for Seattle cable-access sketch comedy show The Night Shift

Adam Dean (BILLY) played "Kute Kitty Kult Delivery Boy" in Galaxaco's last feature film, Doomed Planet, and "Smooth Daddy-O" in (Seattle underground film God) Karl Krogstad's Great Uncle Jimmy. Adam is an accomplished composer and makes excellent sushi.

Scotty Crane (BILLY'S DAD) is the son of the late Bob Crane (Col. Robert E. Hogan of television's Hogan's Heroes) and Patricia Crane (stage name, Sigrid Valdis). He is a music producer and, following in his dad's footsteps, was one of the creators and hosts of the award-winning nationally- syndicated comedy radio show Shaken, Not Stirred. He was also one of the hosts of the daily talk radio program The Johnny and Scotty Show. He's been on the Howard Stern Show and just about every other talk show in the country flogging his website, bobcrane.com, where his dad appears naked.

Michelle Crane (BILLY'S MOM) has worked in the film and television industry as a hair, make-up and wardrobe stylist with such luminaries as pop star Bjork, George Clooney, Diane Sawyer and Bill Gates. Her popular advice column "Lipstick 101" has appeared in Seattle Magazine. As a comedy writer, Michelle wrote and directed live action shorts for Real Networks and animated scripts for Honkworm. Michelle's modeling career includes print, runway, and television commercial work. Michelle also starred in the cult b-movie Attack of The Killer Monkey Brain.

Ara Tripp (MRS. GASH) Her commitment to a woman's right to be topless in public led her to perform a now famous 1999 act of civil disobedience. After climbing a high-voltage electrical tower adjacent to busy Interstate 5, Ara "doffed her top and began gyrating and snapping her fingers, occasionally taking a swig from a bottle of vodka, then spitting out the liquor and lighting it on fire." She has since appeared on Howard Stern and the Daily Show. Her side-career as a Chicken Coop Architect was featured in Pacific Coast Magazine.

Karen Heaven (MRS. HEADMISTRESS) began her acting career in a boarding school somewhere in outback Australia, much to the chagrin of her headmistress. Hell Hole High was a normal experience for her. Cheeky monkey!

Rick Klu (HOBO MENTOR) is a Seattle actor and visual artist who specializes in comedy. Currently he is testing out new material based on many of his characters. As an artist, he has had 17 group and solo exhibitions. His graphic design can be seen on T-shirts, stage sets, murals, and rock posters.

Three Finger Jack (MUSIC TEACHER) played Jerry Garcia in Galaxaco's last direct-to-video midnight movie Doomed Planet. For years he has worked as a popular busker at the Pike Place Market and the Mariners' Safeco Field. He is currently suing Paul Allen and the Seahawks for barring him from busking in front of the new football stadium. Jack and the entire Galaxaco crew are proud that there's a fine Oregon microbrew bearing the name Three Finger Jack.

Cherilyn Mesloh (TROPHY WIFE) has been involved in the Seattle theater scene for the past few years, performing with the sketch comedy troupe Some Kind of Cult, touring with Open Door Theater (an educational theater group that performs in elementary schools), and doing some acting and writing with the cable show The Night Shift. Before that she earned her keep as a ballroom dance instructor. Now residing in sunny L.A., Cherilyn is currently a student at the 3rd Street Theater.

Raphael Hadac (MR. DOINKERSON) His film credits include appearances in Doomed Planet (as Raphael) and George Clark's The Dumbass (in the title role). His modeling work has brought his visage onto the pages of local publications Seattle Whitely and The Whimper, and he graced the cover of last November's The Wanker. In the musical realm, Raphael can be seen performing regularly with the Seattle Symphony Chorale, and as a sideline he occasionally plays keyboards for local grunge outfit Behavior Management.

Robin Fairbanks (MRS. DOINKERSON) has been gaining attention as one of Seattle's brightest new stand-up comics. She's performed nationwide, as well as appearing in a number of radio and television commercials in the Northwest and Midwest. While only 4'11", her recent modeling gig for a Washington State Lotto billboard campaign had her towering over every freeway in the Puget Sound area.
